Proxsys, LLC Congratulates Princeton Baptist Medical Center, Recent Recipient of the National HFMA High-performance in Revenue Cycle MAP Award

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama- (September 17th, 2010) Proxsys, LLC congratulates Princeton Baptist Medical Center of Birmingham for recently being recognized by the national Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) as one of only 10 hospitals in the country to earn the MAP Award for High Performance in Revenue Cycle. The MAP Award (Measure, Apply, Perform) is defined by the HFMA as a “new initiative… launched to raise the level of financial performance of the entire industry by driving revenue cycle excellence.” Centered on several key performance indicators (MAP keys) developed by the HFMA to be industry standards, the MAP Award recognizes healthcare organizations that are unique, innovative, and effective in revenue cycle process improvements and patient satisfaction.

Proxsys, LLC has been partnered with Princeton Baptist Medical Center since 2006, and is proud to have contributed to initiatives that helped bring national attention and recognition to this very deserving hospital. With processes in place that specifically impact performance in crucial MAP keys concerning denial rates, pre-registration, insurance verification, point-of-service collections, bad debt reduction, and other significant indicators, we are honored to have played a role in Princeton Baptist Medical Center’s recent revenue cycle enhancements.
